The Governors Pavilion is located in Ames State, North Eastern, Massachusetts. The focus is centered around expressing how old architecture can be transformed into new architecture, both working together as one. Even though they both are very different in more than just-style. For instance, the carriage house that is located on the site complemented the pavilion and helped the concept be defined on its own. The pavilion has an extravagant roof which helps the sunlight come in with a delicate and light touch to create a unique shadow that will reflect on the floor. This is a place where people can enjoy the community garden and rent it for different events such as weddings, anniversary parties, birthdays, and much more. It includes a media center, locked storage, catering kitchen, the interpretative space display, and sliding doors that open all the way so people can enjoy the outdoor areas as well.
